Survey on European Steiner/Waldorf Schools

Want to discover country specific information about the European Waldorf movement ?

We are happy to announce that the ECSWE website now features country profiles offering general information and statistical data provided by our national associations.

These include:

  • Statistics on Steiner Waldorf schools and Early Childhood education in each country;
  • The number of pupils enrolled in Waldorf schools, grouped by age range and education level;
  • Teacher training possibilities including contact details;
  • Contact details of the national associations as well as the ECSWE representative.

Based on this data, we created a fact sheet providing a general overview of Waldorf schools and pupils in Europe by means of diagrams and charts.

These country profiles and our fact sheet are dynamic, and will be updated every year.

A big thank you to the Survey group and to the national associations that made this first year of country profiles possible !
